BizWatchOnline wanted to know about the fountain of Pat’s inspiration, and here’s what he said: "AS A CHILD I LACKED GOOD LOOKS, TALENT, SKILLS OF ANY KIND, INTELLECT AND CHARM, SO I WAS FORCED TO DEVELOP A SENSE OF HUMOR. HUMOR IS THE LUBRICANT OF LIFE; IT MINIMIZES ALL SORTS OF FRICTION, BETTER THAN WD40, THE OLD STANDBY." "CARTOONING IS NOT MY FULL TIME JOB. I JUST DO IT TO VENT IDEAS. FROM A MYERS-BRIGGS PERSONALITY PERSPECTIVE, I AM AN INTP. INTPs TEND TO BE IDEA DRIVEN, AND THAT IS CERTAINLY TRUE OF ME.
